Nordstrom Testing Service is woman-owned and family operated right here in Mount Juliet, TN. Since our company opened its doors in 2004, we’ve treated every customer like they were a part of our family. Other companies may offer similar services, but our services are the best, and come with a personal touch.

Summary of Services
With a combined 20 years of experience in the construction/inspection industry, Nordstrom Testing Service technicians are fully qualified to handle your inspection and testing needs, from pre-construction through project completion!

Our technicians are experienced with the various AWS and ASME Codes as they pertain to qualification of welders and welding procedures. During the actual construction phase of your project, Nordstrom Testing Service can provide full-time or call-out inspection of production welding, Ultrasonic Testing of Complete Penetration welds, and Magnetic Particle and Liquid Penetrant Testing of various welded connections. Many projects today require intermittent or full-time welding inspection be performed at the fabrication facility prior to structural members being shipped to the jobsite. Nordstrom Testing Service can fulfill this requirement regardless of the location of the facility or the duration of the job.

If your project involves primarily bolted connections, we have the tools and experience to perform High-Strength Bolt testing and inspection in accordance with industry standards. We also perform visual observations and testing of Spray Applied Fireproofing on structural members, as well as through-wall and through-floor penetration firecaulking application.

Nordstrom Testing Service technicians have substantial experience working on remediation and renovation of existing structures. Our experience with potable water storage tank coatings inspection include NEW tank construction, EXISTING tank renovation, and evaluation of coating "failures" with recommendations for remediation.

From surface preparation and atmospheric conditions to material handling, mixing, and application, Nordstrom Testing Service is dedicated to ensuring the project is completed safely, and in accordance with NACE and ASTM standards as well as the project specifications. Our technicians are qualified and experienced with lead-based coating abatement projects and the unique concerns associated with them such as environmental, safety and legal requirements.
